Trimurti Knitting Works

Trimurti Knitting Works is tucked away in Sardar Nagar, Basti Jodhewal. We are right across from the Chawla Box Factory and not far from R. K. Dying. It’s a very industrial part of the neighborhood, so there’s always a lot of noise and trucks moving around. We’ve been here for a long time, doing our knitting work in this same building. Inside, the machines are loud and they run for most of the day. It isn't a place for someone who likes peace and quiet. We spend our time watching the needles and making sure the yarn doesn't get tangled up. It’s dusty and hot, but that’s the nature of the work we do. We don't have a website or a marketing person; we just rely on people knowing where we are. Sardar Nagar is a place where everyone is busy making something. We fit right in with the other factories around us. Sometimes we have to stop the machines to fix something, and those are the only quiet moments we get. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy office. We just want to get the knitting done and get the orders out to the people waiting for them. It’s a simple life and a simple business here in Basti Jodhewal. When the shift ends, we usually just clear the floor and head home for some rest before doing it all over again tomorrow. The work is steady and that is enough for us.
