Taxes Hosiery Mills is situated over on Rai Bahadur Road. We are not too far from the Purana Bazar area, which is always full of activity. The mill stays busy most days of the week. We have been operating out of this location for a while. It is an old part of town with lots of history in the streets. You can hear the sounds of the market nearby when the wind blows the right way. Our building is simple and serves its purpose for the work we do. We deal with hosiery and keep the machines running. It can get a bit noisy inside, but we are used to it by now. Rai Bahadur Road has its own rhythm. We see the same faces passing by every morning. The walk from Purana Bazar is pretty quick if you know the shortcuts. We don't have a big fancy front, just the doors where we bring in the materials. Inside, things are stacked up where there is room. It’s a practical way to run a mill. We focus on the daily tasks and making sure the orders are ready. Some days are more hectic than others, especially when shipments are arriving. We just keep at it. It is a steady life here near the bazaar. Most folks in the neighborhood know where we are if they need us. We like being in this part of the city. The tea boy comes by twice a day and that’s when we take a break.
