T 2 Tech Zone

If you’re out near the Bidadi Industrial Area, you might have seen us at the Shyanamangala Cross. T 2 Tech Zone is right there near the Bheemanahalli side, close to where the big factories are. It’s a long name for a small place, but it helps people find us in the middle of all the industrial buildings. We get a lot of guys from the plants coming in during their breaks because they cracked their phone screens or their laptops are acting up. Ghumar Mandi is a bit of a distance, but this is where we set up. The shop is basically one large room with a high ceiling and some metal shelving. It’s often noisy outside with the trucks and the heavy machinery moving around the industrial estate. We spend our days mostly looking at screens and trying to figure out why things won't turn on. We have a kettle in the back for making coffee since the days can get pretty long and tiring. It’s not a shiny retail store like you’d see in the mall; it’s a practical workspace for people who need things fixed fast so they can get back to their jobs. The dust from the road is a constant battle, and we keep a cloth handy to wipe down the display cases every hour. We don't have any staff in uniforms, just a couple of us in our regular clothes doing the work and answering the same questions about why batteries die so fast.
