Our shop is located on Daba Road over in New Amar Nagar. It’s a standard neighborhood and we’ve been operating out of this space for some time. We deal with various technical things throughout the day. Usually, the morning starts with checking what equipment needs fixing or what projects are sitting on the workbench from the day before. It gets a bit dusty sometimes because of the road outside, so we spend a fair amount of time cleaning off the counters. There’s no big reception desk or anything like that. You just walk in and someone is usually there working on a computer or some hardware. We handle the tasks as they come. Some days are slow and we just sit around talking about local news, while other days we are working late to finish up a job. It’s a simple setup. We have tools scattered around and plenty of cables tucked into corners. We don't spend money on fancy signs or advertisements. Most people find us because they live nearby or someone told them where Daba Road is. It’s just a practical place to get technical work done. We try to be straightforward about what we can do. If we can't fix something, we just say so. There isn't any hidden agenda here. We just like working with our hands and keeping the machines running. It’s a living, and it keeps us busy enough most weeks.
