Unicotts

Ludhiana is where we are based, right in the heart of Punjab. It is a city that never really seems to sleep, especially with all the industry going on. Unicotts is just one part of that big picture. The weather here is either really cold in the winter or incredibly hot in the summer, and we feel all of it in our workspace. We have stacks of materials everywhere you look. It is a bit disorganized sometimes, but we know where everything is. The sounds of the city come in through the windows all day long. Ludhiana has this specific energy to it, everyone is always trying to get things moving. We aren't some big brand with a glossy office. We are just local people working with what we have. Most of us have lived in Punjab our whole lives. We drink a lot of chai to keep ourselves going when the afternoons get long. Sometimes the machines act up and we have to spend half the morning fixing them, which is frustrating but it is part of the job. We don’t spend time on fancy speeches or writing long reports about our goals. We just focus on the day’s work and making sure we get everything finished before we go home to our families. It is a simple way of doing things, but it works for us. We are just a small part of this big, busy, dusty city. We stay late if we have to.
