Our shop is tucked away at No. 310-A on Street No. 1 in Banda Bahadur Colony. If you know Rahon Road, you know how busy Basti Jodhewal gets during the day. We’ve been operating out of this spot for a bit, mostly dealing with computer problems and software stuff that comes our way. It’s usually a mess of cables and keyboards on the workbenches. People come by with laptops that won't turn on or phones that have slowed down to a crawl. We spend most of our hours staring at screens or taking apart hardware to see what’s rattling inside. The neighborhood is pretty loud, so there is always the sound of traffic and people talking outside the door. We don’t have a fancy waiting room; it’s just a few chairs and the sound of cooling fans running. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, but we keep the fans going and just get on with the work. We try to help out anyone who walks in, whether it’s a quick fix or something that takes a few days. Being on Street No. 1 means we see a lot of the same faces every day. We aren't trying to be some big corporate tech firm. We just handle the tech side of things for the local folks here. It’s a small operation, but it keeps us busy from morning until we lock up at night. There is always something new to fix.
