Sunny Karyana Store

Sunny Karyana Store is tucked away in Gali Number 2 of Deep Nagar. If you know the area near Gill Road in Ludhiana, you probably know where we are, especially with Tezz International Tool being so close. The shop is not very big, but we pack in as much as we can. It’s mostly just shelves full of rice, oils, and different kinds of soaps. Every morning, I open up the shutters and start checking what ran out the day before. The street outside is always noisy with bikes and people walking past. It gets really busy around dinner time when everyone realizes they forgot to buy something for their meal. Sometimes the sacks of flour take up too much floor space and people have to squeeze in. We don’t do any big advertising or anything. People just know we are here. Ludhiana winters are cold, so we usually have a small heater running near the counter while we wait for customers. We try to remember what each regular customer likes, like which brand of tea or which type of dal they prefer. It’s a simple life running a karyana store. We deal with many different people every day and try to get them their stuff quickly so they can get home. It’s just how things are in a neighborhood like Deep Nagar.
