Standard Woollen Mills

We are located on the Main Road, number 2719-A, right near First Line Hosiery. It’s a spot that most people in this trade know well. We run a woollen mill, which is a dusty and loud kind of business. The machines are old and made of heavy metal, and they have been working since long before I started here. There is always a layer of wool dust on the windows and the rafters. We don't mind it much, it’s just part of the job. The Main Road is always crowded with traffic, so there’s a constant sound of horns outside, but the mill is even louder. We spend our time processing raw wool into something useful. It’s a lot of physical labor, lifting heavy bags and making sure the machines are fed. It’s not a job for everyone, but it’s what we do. We often have to shout over the sound of the heavy trucks passing by on the road. We aren't looking to impress anyone with a polished office; we just have our workspace and our tools. Being near First Line Hosiery means we are in the middle of all the action. We’ve been at this address for a long time and we don't plan on going anywhere else. The work is steady and it keeps us going through the seasons. It’s a bit of an old-school way to work, but we like it. It’s just a regular mill doing regular things every day.
