Parveen Knitwears (regd. )

We've been here at Bxxiv No. 2727 in Sunder Nagar for quite a while now. Most people around here know us because we're right by the SBI. Parveen Knitwears is really just about the daily grind of making sweaters and other warm stuff. My father started this years ago. He used to sit by the old machines all day. Now, things are a bit different but the noise of the knitting is still the same. Sunder Nagar is a busy spot. We see the same faces every morning when the shops open up. It gets really cold here in the winter months so that keeps us busy enough. We don't have a big fancy office or anything like that. It's just a workspace filled with yarn and half-finished pieces. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just have to wait it out with some tea. We try to keep things moving as best as we can. It’s a lot of manual work still. People drop by sometimes just to see what's on the machines. We've stayed in this same building because it works for us. The address is a bit confusing for some delivery drivers but we usually just tell them to look for the bank. It's just a regular life here, making things that people actually need. We don't spend time on big talk. Just knitting and packing bags. That is how it has always been for us.
