Sumeet Exports

Our place, Sumeet Exports, is located on Street No 1 in Vishnu Nagar, right off Rahon Road. It’s a narrow street and can get crowded with traffic sometimes. We handle export orders from here. It's basically a warehouse and a small workspace where we pack things up. We spend a lot of time on the phone with shipping agents and looking at boxes. It isn't a glamorous job, but it keeps us busy. We started this because we knew a few people who needed stuff sent abroad. Now it’s just our daily routine. We have a few guys who help with the heavy lifting and the packing. Sometimes we stay late when a container needs to be filled. The neighborhood is mostly residential and small shops, so we try to keep the noise down. We don’t have a big sign out front, just the address. People usually find us by word of mouth. We don’t use any fancy software for the most part, just a lot of lists and notebooks. It works for us. We’ve seen a lot of businesses come and go on Rahon Road, but we’ve managed to stay put. It's about being consistent. We get the orders, we pack them, and we send them out. That's the whole story. It’s simple and it's how we make a living here in Vishnu Nagar. We've been here long enough that we know all the neighbors.
