Deochan Doris

We are located right where Iqbal Ganj Road meets Pakhowal Road, so there is always a lot of dust and cars passing by. It can be hard to find a parking spot around here, which we know is a pain for everyone who visits. The shop is small and sometimes the shelves look a bit crowded because we keep bringing in new things that catch our eye. It started as a small idea between family members and now it’s just our daily life. We open up early and stay late most nights, especially during the wedding season when everyone is out shopping for something special. The name Deochan Doris comes from a mix of names in the family, nothing too complicated about it. We see a lot of the same faces every week, people just stopping in to see what’s new or to have a quick chat while they browse. The light inside isn’t the brightest, but it works for what we need. We don't have a big team or a fancy office, just a counter and some chairs in the back where we have our tea during the quiet hours. Sometimes the rain leaks a little near the front door if the wind is blowing the wrong way, so we keep a bucket handy. It’s a busy life on this road, but we like being part of the neighborhood. We just try to keep things moving and make sure people find what they are looking for without too much fuss.
