Om Parkash & Sons

Om Parkash & Sons has been sitting here on the Main Firozpur Road for quite some time. We are right near Aarti Cinema, which is a landmark everyone in this part of town knows. If you’re driving down the road, you can’t really miss the area. It’s a family business, passed down through the years, and we try to keep things going the way they always have been. The shop is filled with a lot of history, though it might just look like a regular store to someone passing by. We deal with all sorts of customers, from old-timers who knew the original owners to young people just moving into the neighborhood. Firozpur Road is always congested, so there’s a lot of noise from the cars and motorcycles outside. We keep a few stools for people to sit on if they want to chat for a minute. It’s not a high-tech operation. We still use paper for a lot of our notes and keep things organized in a way that makes sense to us. We aren't interested in being the biggest shop on the block. We just want to be reliable for the folks who rely on us. It’s hard work sometimes, staying open late and dealing with the heat, but it’s what we do. We’re just part of the local landscape here near the cinema, keeping things honest and simple.
