The shop is tucked away in Bhadaur House at Caliber Plaza. If you know the Camp Road area, you know how busy it gets around here. We have rolls of cloth and thread everywhere. R R Creations is mostly about getting the stitching right and making sure things fit. My hands are usually busy with a needle or marking something out with chalk. It is crowded inside because we have so much material sitting around. Some days the sewing machines don't stop from morning until the sun goes down. We have piles of orders that we go through one by one. It is not always perfect. Sometimes a thread pulls or a color looks different in the light outside than it did under our old lamps. We try to keep up with what people want. It is a lot of work sitting at the table all day. We see a lot of people coming in and out of the plaza. You can hear the noise from the street even when the door is shut. We just keep our heads down and get the sewing done. It’s a small space, C 92/93, but we make it work for us. Lunch is usually eaten quickly while sitting on a stool. We just want to finish the work so people can have what they asked for. That is how we spend our days here in the middle of all the fabric.
