Our factory is at Plot No. 96-97 in Industrial Area-A. We are right across from Oswal Knit India, so we are in the heart of the local textile district. The building is filled with knitting machines that make a constant rhythmic clicking sound all day long. It’s quite loud, but you get used to it after a while. We have large rolls of yarn stacked up in different colors and materials throughout the space. The floor is often covered in small bits of thread and lint, which is just part of the knitting process. We have a team of people who watch the machines to make sure the fabric is coming out correctly without any snags or tears. It’s a very hands-on job. We don’t have a fancy front office; we just have a small space where we keep the samples and take care of the orders. The heat from the machines can make it quite warm in the summer, but we keep the fans going to stay comfortable. Most of the people working here have been in the knitting trade for years and they know how to fix a machine if it skips a stitch. We focus on producing the fabric and getting it packed into bags for delivery. It’s a busy, dusty, and loud environment, but it’s where we do our best work. We just stick to what we know.
