Sonu Karyana Stores

I started Sonu Karyana Stores a long time ago in Abdullapur Basti 1044. It’s a busy spot near the main road but tucked away enough that it feels like home. My day usually starts before the sun is even up properly. I have to open the shutters and get the floor swept because people start coming for milk and bread very early. We keep all the basic stuff like pulses, spices, oils, and snacks for the kids. The shelves are a bit crowded because the shop isn't huge, but I know where everything is kept. If someone asks for a specific brand of tea, I can grab it without looking twice. It gets a bit dusty with the traffic nearby, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. Sometimes neighbors just come in to talk about the weather or what’s happening in the colony while I weigh out the sugar. I don’t use any fancy computer systems here, just a simple notebook to keep track of things. My hands are usually a bit white from the flour bags or sticky from the sweets. It’s hard work being on your feet all day, especially in the heat, but I’m used to it now. People know me here and I know them. We don't have a big sign or anything like that, just the shop name painted on the front. It’s just a small place for the daily needs of the people living around here.
