Sohan Provision Store

The store is located at Plot No. Hl-273 in the Jamalpur area. We are quite close to Jamalpur Chowk, so there is always people passing by. Living and working in Awana Focal Point means things stay fairly active during the day. It is a simple provision store where we keep the shelves stocked with the usual things families need. Most mornings start with us opening up and checking what ran out the day before. We deal with all sorts of people from around the neighborhood. It is not some big corporate chain, just a local spot where we know a lot of the customers by their first names. Sometimes the delivery trucks arrive late and things get a bit chaotic, but we manage. The shop isn't huge, but we pack a lot in. Dealing with the heat or the rain is just part of the job when you're near the chowk. We spend a lot of time organizing bags and counting items. It feels good to be part of the community here in Jamalpur. We don't have fancy displays or anything like that. It is just a regular shop where people stop in to grab what they forgot for dinner or their morning tea. We keep it going every day and try to be helpful when someone asks where something is kept on the shelves. It is a long day usually, but we like it here. We don't mind the noise.
