Sita Ram Ganda Ram

This place has been around Sham Nagar for quite a while. We are located right at the 3rd Cross, near where Krishnamma Garden Phase I starts. It’s a quiet enough area compared to the main roads. My father used to say that the garden brings a nice breeze in the evenings. The shop itself is tucked away. We sell basic things that people in the neighborhood need every day. You might see a cat sitting near the entrance most mornings. I spend my time arranging the bags and making sure the shelves aren't empty. It’s a lot of physical work, lifting boxes and moving stuff around. We know most of the people who walk by name. They stop for a bit of a chat about their families or the local news. Sometimes I sit on a stool outside when there’s no one in the shop. The 3rd Cross can get a bit muddy when it rains, so we spend a lot of time mopping the floor. We don’t have any fancy displays or bright lights. It’s just a regular shop with wooden counters that have been here since the beginning. The name Sita Ram Ganda Ram is something people recognize around here. We just try to be helpful when someone can’t find what they are looking for. It’s a steady rhythm of life here. We open early and close when the sun goes down, just like always.
