Simran General Store

Simran General Store is situated in Har Charan Nagar, Ludhiana. We are quite close to Shingar Road, which is a big help for people trying to find us. This is a busy neighborhood and we’ve been part of it for a long time. The address is Ludhiana - 141008. We sell all the usual things you’d expect from a general store. There are stacks of biscuits, different kinds of shampoos, and all the cooking essentials like oil and flour. The shop is usually a bit crowded because we try to stock as much as possible in a small area. We don’t have fancy displays, just wooden shelves and some glass jars for the sweets. It gets quite dusty with the traffic from Shingar Road, so we spend a lot of time wiping down the counters. Our customers are mostly the people who live in the surrounding lanes. They come in for a quick item they forgot to get elsewhere. We know most of the kids who come in to buy a single chocolate or a packet of chips. It is a decent life, just managing the inventory and talking to folks. We open up early to catch the people going to work. It’s not much, but it is our way of making a living here in Ludhiana and it keeps us occupied.
