Sidhu General Store

Sidhu General Store is right in the heart of Vpo Gill. Life in the village is a bit slower than the big cities, and that usually suits us just fine. Around here, people don't really need much, but they need it consistently. We’ve got the usual things—soap, salt, matchboxes, and whatever else folks in Gill might run out of during the week. It’s a small place, really. Most of the regulars are neighbors I’ve known for years. A lot of time is spent just talking about the crops or the weather while I weigh out sugar or count change. You won't find any fancy signs or bright lights here. It’s just a wooden counter and some old shelves that have seen better days. When the sun goes down, it gets real quiet around here. I usually sit on a stool out front when there aren't many customers. Making a living this way is simple. No website or anything like that exists for us, just this physical shop in Vpo Gill. After school, sometimes the kids come in for a piece of candy and they make a bit of a mess, but the company is nice. We don't try to be something we aren't. It’s just a general store where you can get your basics without any fuss. That’s how we’ve always done it and how we’ll keep doing it. I guess we're just part of the furniture around here now and people expect us to be here.
