Shivani Home Decor

We are located in the lower ground of Sco-13 in Phase 1 of the Urban Estate. It's right near the D.P.S Kids School in Jamalpur, so we hear the kids playing during recess every day. Shivani Home Decor has been tucked away in this basement spot for a bit. It’s actually a bit cooler down here in the summer, which is nice. We have stuff piled up everywhere—curtains, cushions, and bits of furniture that we're still trying to find a permanent spot for. Sometimes it feels like we’re running out of room, but we manage. People stop in after dropping their kids off at school to look at fabric samples or talk about what might look good in their living rooms. We aren't interior designers with fancy degrees; we just know what looks decent and what holds up over time. The lighting isn't always perfect in a lower-ground shop, but we have enough lamps around to see what’s what. We spend a lot of time measuring things and making sure the edges are straight. It’s a lot of physical work, moving heavy rolls of cloth around and climbing ladders. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know where everything is hidden. If you come by, you might have to step over a box or two. It’s just a regular local shop trying to help people fix up their houses without making it too complicated.
