Shekha Collection

You can find Shekha Collection right across from Nevia Hosiery on Shekhewal Road. It’s easy to miss if you aren't looking for the sign. We've been in New Shivpuri for a few years now. The shop is mostly just racks of clothes and a small counter where we sit. It’s not a big place, but we fit a lot in there. Some days it feels like we’re drowning in fabric. We get new stuff in every week or so, and it takes us forever to get it all tagged and put away. The fans overhead make a clicking sound that we’ve stopped noticing. People from the neighborhood stop in to chat even if they aren't buying anything. We don’t mind. It’s part of being a local shop. Sometimes the deliveries arrive late and we have to stay open an hour or two longer to get everything sorted. It’s just me and one other person working here most of the time. We try to keep the windows clean but the road dust makes it a losing battle. We don’t have any big sales pitches or fancy displays. We just put the clothes out and let people look around. It’s a simple setup. We know most of our regulars by name. That’s just how things go at Shekhewal Road. We like the pace of things here. It keeps us on our toes without being too overwhelming. We just keep moving forward one day at a time without much fuss.
