Lark Knitwear

Our place, Lark Knitwear, is tucked away in Sharman Enclave. We are at E-14/6151, right off G. T. Road West. It’s behind Nagesh Hosiery, which is a big landmark around here. If you are looking for us, you have to keep an eye out because the lanes can get a bit confusing. We’ve been in the knitwear business for quite a few years now. The machines are usually running and making a lot of noise. It’s a busy environment. We have boxes stacked up everywhere and yarn all over the place. It’s not a showroom; it’s a factory floor mostly. We wear regular clothes and just get our hands dirty with the work. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone to write fancy things about us. We just make the clothes and send them out. Sometimes the tea man comes by and we take a break. Otherwise, it’s just steady work. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but we’ve stayed right here. We like being near the main road because it makes shipping easier. It’s an honest living. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to keep the machines running and the orders filled. That’s what we do every day at Sharman Enclave. It gets cold in the winter, but the machines keep the place warm enough for us to keep working through the day.
