Sehgal Army Store

If you head down Rahon Road in Ludhiana, you'll find us in Indra Colony. We are at House Number 10584 on Street Number 5. It’s a busy neighborhood and Basti Jodhewal is always full of people moving around. The store is part of the house, so it feels very local and personal. We’ve been here for many years. You can see the army gear and uniforms from the doorway. It gets quite dusty on this road with all the traffic passing by, but we try to keep the shop floor clean. Customers come in looking for specific things, and we usually know exactly which shelf it's on. We don't have fancy lighting or anything like that. It's just shelves and racks filled with what people need. My family has been around this area for a long time. We know almost everyone on Street 5. During the summer, it gets really hot inside, so the ceiling fan stays on high speed all day. We spend a lot of time talking to the folks who drop by, even if they aren't buying anything that day. It's a small place but we keep it packed with stock. You have to walk carefully so you don't bump into the crates. It’s just how we run things here. No big corporate rules, just making sure we have what people are looking for when they walk in. We keep it simple and stay busy.
