Santosh Agro Farm

Our place, Santosh Agro Farm, is located right near the Mai Nand Kaur Gurudwara Chowk in Ghumar Mandi. It’s a busy intersection, and you can always hear the prayers from the Gurudwara in the early mornings, which is a nice way to start the day. We deal with a lot of farming stuff, mostly seeds and the kind of things people need for their land around here. It’s not a very clean place, as there is always some dirt or spilled grain on the floor, but that is just the nature of an agro business. Farmers come in from the outlying areas, usually early before the sun gets too high. They want to talk about the rain or why their crops aren't growing like they should. I don't always have the answers, but I listen and show them what we have in the bags out back. We have piles of fertilizer and different tools leaning against the walls. It can get a bit disorganized during the sowing season because everyone is in a hurry and wanting things at the same time. I usually have a few bags of heavy stuff to move around, so it keeps me busy and tired. We don't have any fancy posters or a big sign, just the name on the door and the word of mouth from the people who have been coming here for years. It’s a simple shop for people who work the ground, and we like it that way.
