We are located over at Ghumar Mandi on Ranti Sati Marg. If you know the area, it is quite easy to find us among the other stores. This place is mostly about the land and what people need to grow things. We have stacks of bags filled with different supplies and seeds. The air usually smells like earth and some of the fertilizers we keep in the back. Farmers come by early in the morning before the sun gets too high. They talk about the weather and if the rain will be enough this year. We listen to them and give them what they need from our shelves. It is a practical kind of job. The floor is often dusty because people walk in from the road all day long. We have a small desk where we keep the ledger books. Everything is done by hand mostly. There are no computer screens blinking here. We just use a simple pen and paper. Sometimes the truck deliveries come late and we have to wait around on the street to unload the heavy bags. It is hard work but it is what we know. The shop doesn't have bright lights or big signs. It is just a door and a counter. We have been in this spot for a while now and the neighbors are all familiar faces to us. We just do our thing every day.
