Babu Agro Farm

Babu Agro Farm is located on G.T Road, right next to the ICICI Bank. It is a very noisy spot because of all the trucks and buses that go past, but it makes it easy for farmers to find us when they come into town. We deal with agricultural supplies like seeds and basic equipment. The shop is not at all polished. We have bags of supplies stacked up and the floor is usually covered in a bit of dirt from people coming and going. We spend a lot of our time just sitting and talking with the farmers who stop by. They tell us about how their crops are doing or complain about the lack of rain. We listen and try to suggest what might work for their specific situation. We do everything by hand here, including the record-keeping in a simple notebook. We don't have a computer or any modern office gear. It's just a desk, some chairs, and a lot of stock in the back. Sometimes we share tea with the customers on the bench outside. It is more about the relationships we have built over the years than anything else. We have seen the area change quite a bit, but our way of doing things stays the same. The bank is a good landmark for new people, but most of our folks have been coming here for a long time. It is a steady, quiet way to spend the day.
