Sanghu Karyana

Sanghu Karyana is situated right on the Ludhiana GiIDC Road. Since we are in an area with so many factories and workshops, we mostly cater to the workers and people passing through on their way to a shift. We stock things that are practical—plenty of tea, sugar, cigarettes, and quick snacks. The dust from the road is a constant battle, so we are always wiping down the counter. It is a very busy spot, especially during shift changes when everyone wants something at the same time. We do not have any flashy signs or bright lights. It is just a plain storefront where you can get what you need without any fuss. I started this place a few years ago because I saw how many people were walking long distances just to find a shop. Now, it feels like we are a regular part of the GiIDC landscape. We spend our afternoons restocking the crates of cold drinks or counting out the packets of noodles. There is always a truck idling nearby or a tractor going past, so it is never really quiet. We do not have a big team, just a couple of us who know where everything is kept. It is simple, direct work. We do not make promises we cannot keep; we just sell what is on the shelves and hope the electricity stays on so the fridge stays cold. It is just a basic shop for the working crowd here.
