Sahaj Ram & Sons

Over at Mullanpur 54, you will find Sahaj Ram & Sons. We are a family-run place and we have been in this spot for quite a while now. My father started things off and now the rest of us are carrying it on. It’s a busy little area of Mullanpur, and our shop is right in the thick of it. We deal with all sorts of general merchandise. You might see sacks of grain sitting near the entrance most mornings. It’s a bit cluttered inside because we try to stock a little bit of everything. We don't really have a website or anything like that, just the physical shop where we show up every day. The door hinges squeak a little when you walk in, but we never seem to get around to oiling them. Customers don't seem to mind much. We spend most of our time weighing things out and bagging them up for the locals. It’s a steady pace of work. Sometimes we sit outside on the wooden bench when there’s a lull in the afternoon. We aren't a big corporation, just a father and his sons trying to make a living and selling things to the people around here. We know most of our customers by their faces if not their names. It’s just a regular way to spend the day and we are fine with it.
