Being over at D-114-A in Focal Point Phase-5 means we are right in the middle of all the industrial action. It’s not a pretty place, to be honest. There’s a lot of grey smoke from the nearby factories and the roads are full of potholes that never seem to get fixed. Our unit is a bit old, with heavy iron doors that creak every time someone comes in. We do apparel work, mostly stitching and finishing. The sewing machines are lined up in three rows, and the light isn't the best in the corners, so we have these extra bulbs hanging by wires. It looks a bit messy with all the scraps of fabric on the floor, but we know where everything is. We don't have a marketing department or anyone to answer phones with a fancy greeting. If you call, you’ll probably hear the machines humming in the background. We eat our lunch together in a small corner near the window. In the summer, the ceiling fans just push the hot air around, but we are used to it by now. We focus on getting the bundles packed and ready for the trucks that come by in the evening. There isn't much to say about us except that we work hard and keep the place running. It’s a basic setup for a basic job. We just try to get things done right the first time.
