S. K. Oswal Hosiery

We are on Street No. 1 in Jagdeep Nagar, over in Basti Jadowal. It’s a typical hosiery neighborhood. You can hear the machines from the street. Our place is tucked away, but we’ve been here a good while now. We make hosiery items, so there’s a lot of knitting and finishing going on. The rooms are usually warm because of the equipment running. We have shelves stacked with finished goods waiting to go out. It’s not a very big place, but we make the most of the space we have. There’s always someone checking the quality of the yarn or packing things into boxes. Basti Jadowal is a busy part of the city, especially during the peak seasons. We just keep our heads down and do the work. The floors are concrete and the walls have some stains from years of use, but it works for us. We don’t use any complex systems. Just old-fashioned hard work and keeping an eye on the details. Most of the people who work here live just a few streets away. We’ve grown up around this kind of business. It’s what we know. We don't have a big website or anything like that. People just know us from being on Street No. 1 for so long. It’s a simple life and a simple business. We try to keep it moving along without much trouble.
