S. G. S. International

The S. G. S. International office is on the first floor at 14609 in Gandhi Nagar. We are right by the G.T Road, near the Dholewal Chowk, so there is never a quiet moment. You can hear the constant honking and the rumble of trucks from dawn until dusk. Being on the first floor gives us a bit of a view of the street chaos, but it also means we carry a lot of boxes up and down the stairs. It is an old building and the rooms are a bit small, but it works for what we do. We handle international trade stuff, so there is a lot of sorting through documents and checking shipping labels. The walls are lined with files and some samples of the things we move. It gets quite dusty because of the traffic on G.T Road, so we are always wiping down the desks. Most of our day is spent coordinating with people over the phone or via email. We have a small corner where we make tea, which is where we spend our breaks. It’s not a polished corporate space, just a busy office in a very busy part of town. Sometimes the internet is slow, and we just have to wait it out. Dholewal Chowk is a landmark for everyone around here, so we never have trouble giving directions to the drivers or visitors.
