We are also at No. 19 Sunder Nagar, just like the neighbors. It’s a good building for what we do. Rose Marie Knit Wears Pvt. Ltd. is basically boxes and yarn and a lot of patience. If you come by Sunder Nagar, you’ll see the entrance is pretty plain. We don’t go in for decorations much. Most of the time, the floor is covered in little bits of thread that we have to sweep up at the end of every shift. It gets into everything, even your hair sometimes. We have a few old chairs that aren't the most comfortable but they do the trick. Working with knitwear means you are always touching something soft, which I guess is a plus. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed. We talk about the weather or what we had for dinner while we work. Outside, Sunder Nagar is usually bustling with people going to and from the other businesses. We mostly stick to ourselves inside No. 19. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but nobody really cares about that. We are more focused on getting the orders right and making sure the knitwear is packed properly. It is a lot of repetitive motion, day after day, but it’s just work. We’ve been here long enough that the place feels like a second home, quirks and all. There's a little tea stall nearby that we visit quite often to get away for a minute.
