R.D. Hosiery Private Limited is tucked away in Industrial Area - C in Ludhiana. We are located near the Ashirwad Dharam Kanda on Sua Road, right where RD Forging is. This part of Ludhiana is all about industry and hard work. You won’t find any parks or quiet spots around here; it’s all factories and warehouses. We’ve been operating out of this space for a good while, focusing on the hosiery business. Our building is a bit old and has that typical industrial feel, with high ceilings and concrete floors. Every day is a mix of checking on the knitting machines and making sure the yarn supplies are topped up. It can get very hot in the summer months, especially with all the machinery running, but the workers here are used to it. We aren't a big corporate firm with a lot of layers. It’s mostly just the owners and the staff on the floor talking directly to each other to solve problems. Sometimes things go wrong with a machine and we have to spend the whole day fixing it ourselves. We don’t have a marketing department telling us what to say. We just know how to make hosiery and we’ve been doing it right here on Sua Road for years. It’s a simple, straightforward operation that keeps us busy from morning till night.
