Ranjit Singh

I’ve been working out of 1567 Firozpur Road for a good number of years. It’s a well-known stretch of road around here, so people usually don't have much trouble finding me. It’s just me, Ranjit Singh, and a couple of others who help out when things get busy or there is a lot of paperwork. The office is tucked away in a spot that’s easy to miss if you’re driving too fast or not paying attention. We have a small desk near the front window where I sit most of the morning hours. You can hear the buses going by all day long and the sound of people talking on the sidewalk. It's a bit dusty because of the constant construction that seems to never end around this part of town, but we manage to keep our desks clean enough. My routine is pretty much the same every single day. I come in, put the water on for some tea, and start going through the mail and messages. It’s not a fancy setup with leather chairs or shiny glass walls. Just a regular room with everything I need to get the job done properly. Sometimes neighbors stop in to chat about the weather or the local news for a few minutes. I like being part of the Firozpur Road community. It’s got a lot of character and history. We don't have any big corporate rules here. We just try to stay honest and do the daily work.
