Ramtex Fashions India Private Limited is out in Village Bajra, along Rahon Road in Ludhiana. We are located on the same street as the Saint GDS Convent School, in an area called Priya Colony. It’s a bit of a mix here between residential houses and small industrial units. In the mornings, it’s always busy with parents dropping kids off at the school, and then it settles down into the regular work rhythm. We have our setup here where we handle the fashion and textile side of things. It’s a practical space, mostly filled with rows of sewing machines and large tables for cutting fabric. We aren’t located in a big shiny office park. Our building is just a normal part of the colony. The people working here mostly live nearby, so it feels like a neighborhood business. We spend our time looking at patterns and making sure the stitching is held to a decent standard. Sometimes we run out of a certain color of thread and someone has to run out to the market to grab more. It’s that kind of place. We don’t have a fancy boardroom or big presentations. Most of our decisions are made over a cup of tea while standing near the machines. We just keep our heads down and try to produce good work every day.
