Over here at Bx-223 in Mochpura Bazar, things are always a bit hectic. This is Radha Shawls, and we’ve been operating out of this same spot for a good while. The bazar is one of those old places where the lanes are narrow and everyone knows each other. We deal mostly in shawls and some other winter wear when the season comes around. The shop isn't very big, so we have to stack everything high up on the wooden racks. Sometimes the piles get a bit messy when we are showing different designs to a customer, but we tidy it up later. We don't have any professional models or glossy catalogs to show. People just come in, feel the fabric, and decide if they like it. It's a very simple way of doing things. My family has been around this market for years, and we just kept the tradition going with this shop. Mochpura Bazar has its own rhythm, and we are just a small part of it. When it’s cold, the place is packed with people looking for something warm. In the summers, we mostly just sit and chat with the neighboring shopkeepers. We don't use any fancy marketing tricks. We just stay here at Bx-223 and wait for whoever walks through the door. It’s a quiet life most of the time, and we like it that way. No big speeches or anything, just a shop in the bazaar.
