R S Provision Store is tucked away in Sunder Nagar, right near Ghanshyam Park. Being on the Sussen Tarsali Ring Road means we get people stopping by on their way home from work. It’s a neighborhood spot, really. We stock the basics like flour, pulses, spices, and soap. The shelves are usually pretty full, sometimes a bit too full, making it hard to see what’s at the back. We don't have fancy scanners or big digital displays. It’s just a counter and stacks of bags on the floor. Often, the kids from the park come in for snacks or cold drinks, which keeps things lively. We know most of the families around here by name since they visit every week. My brother and I run the place most days. The morning delivery trucks usually block the narrow entrance for a bit while we unload the fresh stuff. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s steady. Sometimes we run out of something popular and have to tell people to come back tomorrow. The fan overhead makes a clicking sound that we’ve just learned to ignore over the years. We try to keep the place clean, though dust always finds its way in from the Ring Road traffic. It’s just a regular store for regular people. We’ve been here since the neighborhood started growing, and we don't plan on going anywhere else. We just open up and wait for the morning rush.
