Punjab Iron Steel Traders is located at Shop No.10087 in the Kot Mangal Singh Nagar area of Shimlapuri. This is a neighborhood where people work hard. Our shop is full of iron bars, sheets, and pipes of all different thicknesses. It’s a heavy business and the air usually smells like rust and metal. We open up the shop early in the morning before it gets too hot. There is no air conditioning here, just a few old fans that help a little bit. We don't use any fancy software to track what we have. Most of it is written down in a thick ledger book that sits on a wooden desk near the entrance. The floor is concrete and often covered in metal shavings or bits of dirt from the delivery trucks. We spend a lot of time loading and unloading. Sometimes the local builders come in just to check prices or see what we have in stock. It’s a simple operation and we like it that way. We don't have a marketing team or anyone to answer the phones with a script. You just call and talk to whoever is free at the moment. The street outside can be quite narrow, so when a big truck comes to drop off steel, the whole lane has to stop for a bit. It is just how things go around here in Shimlapuri and we are used to it.
