Madhav Alloys Pvt. Ltd. is based on Talwara Road, just off the GT Road on the Sirhind side of Mandi Gobindgarh. If you know anything about this town, you know it is all about steel. We are right in the middle of it. The area is filled with scrap yards and rolling mills. Our facility is a busy place where we deal with alloys and various metal products. The GT Road is always humming with heavy trucks, and many of them stop here to load or unload. It is a very practical environment. The floors are dark from the metal dust and the office is usually filled with the sound of calculators and people arguing over logistics. We do not have any fancy brochures. We just show the buyers the material we have in the yard. Mandi Gobindgarh is a tough place to work because of the competition and the heat, but we have been at it for years. The guys in the yard know their stuff and they can tell the grade of metal just by looking at it. We spend our time managing the stock and making sure the transport is lined up. It is not always smooth, and sometimes the power goes out or the trucks are late, but we just deal with it. It is just how the steel business works here on the Sirhind side.
