Pruthi International

We are based out of Plot No. 1 in Azad Nagar, right near the Jalandhar Bypass on Bahadur Ke Road. If you know the area, you know how busy that road gets with all the trucks and lorries passing by at all hours. It gets quite dusty around here, especially in the summer months when the wind picks up. We’ve been running Pruthi International from this spot for quite some time. It’s basically a big shed where we keep everything organized. My brother and I usually get here early to open up the gates. We don’t have any big signs or anything, just the address on the wall. The tea stall at the corner is where we spend a lot of our time talking to the drivers. Inside, it’s mostly just desks and a lot of samples lying around. We deal with people from all over, but we still feel like a small local shop. The floors are concrete and they get cold in the winter. We use those old heaters to stay warm. It’s a practical setup, nothing for show. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back. We handle all the paperwork ourselves. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting things and checking boxes. We don’t have a website that’s updated or anything like that. We just do our business face to face or over the phone. That’s how we like it.
