Perfect For Gings

Our place is located on Sua Road in Dhandari Kalan. We’ve been here for a long while now, working out of a shed that has definitely seen better days. We do "gings" or leggings, depending on who you ask in the neighborhood. The floor is usually covered in little bits of lint and scraps of elastic that we sweep up at the end of the shift. It’s a dusty part of town with all the heavy trucks going by, so we keep the doors shut when we can. Inside, it's just rows of sewing machines and stacks of finished items ready to be bundled. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist to greet you at the door. If you come by to see us, you’ll probably find us mid-work with fabric draped over our shoulders and threads on our clothes. We don't use much fancy technology, mostly just the reliable machines we've used for years. They work well, so we don't see any real reason to change them. Dhandari Kalan is an industrial spot, so we fit right in with the general noise and the grit. Sometimes we run out of a certain color of thread and have to wait for the next shipment, which can be a real headache. We don't put on any airs about being the biggest company. We're just a group of people making clothes that people can actually afford for their daily lives. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but we take pride in a clean stitch. The tea guy comes around at four, and that’s our favorite part of the afternoon.
