Parveen Garg

Ludhiana is a place where everyone is always working, and I am no different. My spot is at 19 B, and it’s where I spend most of my waking hours. It’s a practical space. I don’t have a lot of decorations on the walls or a fancy lobby. I just have my desk and the things I need to run my business. The street can get a bit dusty when the trucks go by, but that is just Ludhiana life for you. I’ve been here for quite a while now. Most people in the neighborhood know Parveen Garg as someone who just gets on with things. I don't like to overcomplicate my work. If someone needs something, they come in, we talk, and we figure it out. It’s very direct. I handle a lot of the phone calls myself because I like knowing what is going on. Sometimes my son helps out with the digital stuff because I’m not great with computers, but the core of the business is still handled the old-fashioned way. I usually have a quick lunch from the tiffin service nearby and then get right back to it. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s a good one. I like the people I work with and the rhythm of the day here at 19 B. We don't need any big promises, just steady effort every single day.
