Pandit Knit Wears

Pandit Knit Wears is located at Plot No. 7 in the Moti Nagar Extension. It’s an area that has grown a lot lately, and we’ve been part of it for some time. Our work is mostly about knitting and making sure the garments come out right. The machines make a constant clicking sound that you stop noticing after the first hour of work. We have big rolls of yarn stacked up against the walls, and they come in all sorts of colors depending on what we are making that month. The space at Plot No. 7 is basically one big room where everything happens, from the actual knitting to the final folding. It gets quite warm in there when all the equipment is running at once. We don’t have a fancy office or a place to show off the goods; we just have our work area and a small desk for the paperwork. Lunchtime is usually spent sitting on some of the crates talking about whatever is in the news. We aren't trying to be the biggest company around, just trying to do a decent job with the knits we produce. The Moti Nagar area is always busy with people moving things around, so we fit right in. It’s a practical life, and we are well used to the rhythm of it.
