Pal Departmental Store

We are located right at the Main Chowk in Basti Jodhewal, which is one of the busiest parts of Ludhiana. Pal Departmental Store has been operating from this corner for a long time, and we have seen the city grow and change around us. Our shop is a place where you can find almost anything you need for your home, from sacks of flour to small packets of biscuits and cleaning supplies. Since we are at such a central location, there is always a lot of noise and movement outside, but we just focus on keeping our shelves stocked and our customers happy. It is a straightforward kind of business where we don't use any fancy marketing tricks or corporate language. We are just local people serving other local people. The store is often filled with crates and new stock waiting to be put away, so it feels very much like a working environment rather than a polished showroom. We spend a lot of time talking to the regulars who stop by on their way home or during their lunch breaks. It’s a lot of physical work, lifting bags and moving boxes, but that is just part of the daily routine here in the 141007 area. We don't try to be anything we aren't; we are just a reliable departmental store doing our best to provide for the community in Basti Jodhewal. There are no computer systems here, just us and our handwritten bills, which is how we’ve always managed things.
