Being located in Phase-4 of the Focal Point Industrial Area keeps us right in the middle of all the noise and action. At Nidhi Knitwears Pvt. Ltd., the machines are almost always running at E-278. This part of the industrial area is quite crowded with trucks coming in to load up goods and workers cycling to their shifts. Our building is a typical factory setup with high ceilings and rows of knitting units. It gets pretty loud when everything is going at once, so we have to shout a bit to hear each other. We’ve been operating from this spot for years. The floor is concrete and often has bits of thread or yarn scattered around. We don't spend much time on office decor because the production area is where the real work happens. It’s a practical space. During lunch breaks, everyone sits outside or in the small canteen area to eat. We deal with a lot of wool and cotton, so there is always a specific smell of fabric in the air. The gates are usually open to let the breeze in, though it doesn't help much in the peak of summer. It is just a straightforward place where we make clothes and manage the daily grind. Nothing fancy, just the way an industrial unit should be. We focus on getting the crates out on time and making sure the needles are working without any trouble.
