Our place, Rajesh Fashion Knitwears, is tucked away in Street No. 4 in New Madhopuri. If you are familiar with the G-11/181 area, you know it’s a hub for this kind of work. We mostly handle knitwear, which means a lot of yarn and machines going all the time. It’s a family-run setup. We don't have a big corporate office. Instead, we have a workspace where most of the magic happens. Some days are incredibly hectic, especially when the seasons change and everyone wants sweaters or woolens at the same time. The street outside can get a bit narrow when the delivery trucks come, so we have to move fast. We’ve been in Ludhiana’s textile scene for a long time. People around here know us as Rajesh’s place. We don’t use any fancy talk to sell what we make. We just show the samples and let the quality of the knitting speak for itself. It’s dusty work sometimes with all the fibers flying around, but we’re used to it. My brother handles the accounts and I look after the production. We make sure the workers have what they need. It’s a straightforward life. We aren't looking to expand into some massive factory; we like the size we are now. It feels more personal that way.
