Bastion Hosiery Factory

New Madhopuri is a busy part of Ludhiana, and we are tucked away in Gali No. 7. At Bastion Hosiery Factory, the sound of knitting machines is pretty much constant from morning until evening. It's a narrow street, so getting goods in and out can be a bit of a challenge sometimes, especially when there are other vehicles parked around. Inside, the space is packed with yarn, half-finished garments, and people working at their stations. We don't have a reception area or a showroom; it's just a working factory where stuff gets made. The walls have some stains from the machine oil and the floor is always covered in bits of thread. That’s just the reality of the hosiery business. We make a variety of items, mostly things people wear to stay warm. The lighting is bright so everyone can see what they are doing. We've been here for years, and most of the staff have been with us for a long time too. We don't do much advertising or anything like that. People know where to find us when they need work done. It's a crowded, noisy, and productive place. We just focus on keeping the machines running and making sure the orders are ready when we said they would be. It's not a glamorous job, but it is what we know how to do best in this neighborhood.
