New Aggarwal Kiryana Stores

We are located in Ludhiana, and the shop is called New Aggarwal Kiryana Stores. Even though we call it "New," we have been around for a long time. The name just stuck after we moved locations years ago. It’s a typical local store where you can find all your daily essentials. We have rows of cooking oil, bags of sugar, and all the spices you’d need for a proper meal. The floor is a bit worn down from people walking in and out all day. The street outside is usually full of bicycles and carts, and you can hear the sounds of the city through the open doorway all day. In Ludhiana, it gets incredibly hot, so we have a big cooler near the door with cold drinks. That's usually the most popular spot in the shop during the summer months. I spend a lot of time checking the stock and making sure we haven't run out of salt or matches. It’s a lot of manual work, carrying crates and opening boxes. We don't use any fancy computers for the billing; it’s mostly just a pen and a notebook. It feels more personal that way. You get to talk to people while you’re calculating the total. We aren't trying to be the biggest store in the city. We just want to be the place where the neighbors can grab their milk and lentils without any fuss. It is just a regular shop.
