Naveen Engineering Works

Naveen Engineering Works is located at 33/38 Miller Ganj on the GT Road. Being near the Ramgarhia Gurdwara is helpful because people use it as a landmark to find us when they are driving by. The traffic on GT Road is never-ending. You can hear the trucks rumbling by all day and night. Our workshop is a bit dark inside, but that actually helps keep it cool during the peak of summer. We do a lot of engineering work, mostly repairs and custom jobs that people bring in when they are stuck. The floor is concrete and has a few cracks from where heavy machinery was dropped years ago. We don’t mind. It gives the place character and shows we work hard. There are always pieces of scrap metal lying around that we might use for the next job that comes through the door. I usually spend my time over the lathe or talking to the guys about a specific drawing. We don’t have a website or a marketing person to handle things. Most people find us because they saw our sign while stuck in traffic or their cousin told them we do honest work. We drink a lot of tea and try to get the jobs done on time, though sometimes parts take a while to arrive from elsewhere. Miller Ganj is a tough area, full of workshops like ours, but we’ve carved out our own little corner here. If you see the Gurdwara, you’re almost at our door.
