Accurates India

Accurates India is located in the Tara Building, specifically at 1706/424 Pratap Nagar New C G. The building itself is one of those older structures where you have to know which door to take to find the right office. We are up on one of the floors, and the windows look out over the rooftops of Pratap Nagar. It’s quite a view when the sun goes down, but most of the time we are too busy to notice. The rooms are filled with precision tools and small metal parts that we spend our time measuring and checking. Everything has to be just right, so there’s a lot of squinting under bright desk lamps. We keep our notebooks full of scribbled measurements and dates. It’s quiet inside compared to the street below, which is always full of people and vendors. We have a tiny pantry where the kettle lives, and that’s where we spend our ten-minute breaks. The walls are painted a dull cream color and are starting to peel a bit near the ceiling. Sometimes the lift in the building breaks down, and we have to carry everything up the stairs, which isn’t much fun. But we’ve been in the Tara Building for a while now and we are used to its quirks. It’s just where we do our work, day in and day out, making sure the numbers add up before we leave.
